Mambu named a leader in digital core banking platforms in APAC
The analyst firm’s evaluation coincides with the appointment of David Becker as Mambu’s Senior Director of Market Sales in the region

Singapore: Mambu, a leading cloud banking platform, has been recognised as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific Digital Core Banking Platforms 2024 Vendor Assessment (doc #AP50463723, September 2024).
The IDC MarketScapes, which marks IDC Financial Insights' first vendor assessment in this area, analysed 15 digital core banking platforms offering digital, cloud-native core processing with implementations in the EMEA and APAC regions, respectively.

Newly-appointed Senior Director of Sales for the APAC region
Becker has joined the business with nearly 20 years of commercial experience in the financial services sector, with the past five spent in the core banking market. He previously held senior executive positions as Head of APAC region at Temenos, Broadridge and Thomson Reuters.
With his deep local market expertise, Becker is spearheading Mambu’s growth strategy in the region following successful implementations with the likes of Bank Islam and Bank Jago.
Becker added: “Our composable approach is a key point of differentiation for banks and lenders across the APAC region, allowing them to create a fully-customised banking architecture with the flexibility and agility to solve customer pain points and respond quickly to changing demand.”
